Flowers, like us humans, come in a wide variety and endure phases and hardships that occur naturally over a life cycle. It is only appropriate that each zodiac sign has at least one flower to represent it. What is your flower sign?
Aries (March 21-April 20) Tulips
The charming and confident Aries is often associated with flowers that are equally enthusiastic and passionate. Such flowers include bright daises, spunky tulips, enticing honeysuckle, and complex thorn-bearing plants.
Taurus (April 21-May 21) Stargazer Lilies
A Taurus is known for being bold, yet dependable. Associated flowers are fierce, and yet quietly sensuous, including many lily varieties and hardy poppies.
Gemini (May 22-June 21) Lavender
Gemini are imaginative and lighthearted. The many different colors of roses reflect the complexity of a Gemini’s personality. The fragrant lavender plant is another favorite of the Gemini.
Cancer (June 22-July 22) Delphinium
Cancers are known for being remarkably emotional and compassionate. The delicate dolphin-shaped petals and openness of the delphinium reflect the romance within a Cancer.
Leo (July 23-August 22) Sunflower
Dramatic and extroverted Leos live large and loud. The sunflower is characterized by openness, brightness, and strength, is just the right flower for a confident Leo. Trees paired with Leos are the open palm tree and spunky citrus trees.
Virgo (August 23-September 23) Aster
The Virgo pays close attention to detail and is reserved. Virgos also exhibit an aspect of cleverness. They are mostly represented by the dainty and equally reserved asters. Additionally, the non-intrusive beauty of the morning glory will usually flourish in whatever setting it is planted.
Libra (September 24-October 23) Hydrangea
A Libra is known for being harmonious and uncommonly gentle. The blend of sturdy stems and the large pom-pom shaped blooms of hydrangea perfectly represent the harmony displayed by Libras. Larger rose types are usually more understated than smaller roses, and therefore more appropriate for the tender Libra.
Scorpio (October 24-November 22) Peony
Scorpios are assertive and emotionally volatile, which breeds a recipe for highly successful and determined individuals. The fiercely red peonies suit Scorpios in color and as a symbol of deep potential. The boldly sensual gardenia is also ideal for Scorpios.
Sagittarius (November 23-December 21) Narcissus
A Sagittarius embodies the unity between keen intellect and physical energy. Carnations are associated with the endurance of the Sagittarius. Narcissus is linked to the Sagittarius’ thirst for knowledge and the desire to spread that knowledge.
Capricorn (December 22-January 20) Carnation
Capricorns are stable and practical individuals who enjoy encountering beauty in everyday life. Both carnations and African violets satisfy the stable and steady nature of Capricorns.
Aquarius (January 21-February 19) Orchid
Dedication and intimacy describe an Aquarius, but there is also a streak of independence that cannot be ignored. The quiet romance of orchids fits the faithfulness of an Aquarius.
Pisces (February 20-March 20) Water Lily
Pisces are known for self-awareness and caring for others. This sign leads with the heart rather than the head. Water lilies and Peruvian lilies, as well as other plants that are not particularly showy, appeal to the quiet nature of the Pisces.
