The newest Chinese fashion accessory sold and seen in Beijing’s trendier neighborhoods is a small plastic flowers or sprout that appears to be growing from the top of the wearers’ head.  Children, women and men, affectionately dubbed “Sproutheads” can be seen wearing these plastic bean sprouts or flowers clipped to their hair. Is this the accessory of the future here?
