During the “International Trainee Day” in Berlin German, Fleurops Young Wild Guns who are the German Ambassadors for the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup 2015, came together to create a 30 meter long flower carpet to welcome visitors for the forthcoming event. The exciting day was celebrated on Saturday 18th April on the airfield of the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.
Together with students from all over the world, they created the 30 meters long and 5 meters wide, colorful carpet of flowers. Around 26,300 stems of flowers were used in this mega creation. Symbolically the red carpet of flowers will be rolled out to guests from all over the world and invite them to the floristic highlight in June 2015 in Berlin. The former airport is thematically connected to the theme of of the World Cup: “Freedom”.
The International Trainee Day was observed on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 10.00-16.00 clock on the lawn in front of the terminal building instead, input “Temple Damm”. If you missed out on these exciting moment… check out the video below showing how the day was.
